*** COVID-19 update ***
We recommend travelers check governmental and local regulations and restrictions for their destination(s) prior to buying, and several times before traveling, as these regulations are fluid. I, your travel agent, and our company, Wethersfield Travel are not liable for any loss, financial or otherwise, or inconvenience due to COVID-19. You, the guest, travel at your own will and are aware of the risks of purchasing and engaging in travel at this time.
WETHERSFIELD TRAVEL’S TERMS & CONDITIONS
Before planning travel arrangements for your flight, hotel, car rental, tour, cruise, or other trip, please read these TERMS AND CONDITIONS carefully. Your pursuance into the actual planning signifies your agreement with the following:
Wethersfield Travel, Inc. (“Consultant”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”). Wethersfield Travel, Inc. is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.
PRICE QUOTES
Quotes on travel arrangements are not confirmed until booked with full names and payment in full. All prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, non-transferable, and non-extendable. If, however, you are unable to travel, you may use the price paid for airfare toward future travel. A minimum $200 applies to any changes made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Certain restrictions do apply. Tickets generally valid for 1-year from purchase date. Unless otherwise noted on the quote, quotes typically do not include airline checked baggage fees, gratuities, meals, or incidental items.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS
Payment schedules are set forth by travel suppliers and are due on the dates specified. Failure to pay on time can result in an automatic cancellation by the affected supplier and can lead to forfeiture of prior payments. All major credit cards are accepted unless otherwise noted by the supplier. Money orders will be accepted and must be made payable to Wethersfield Travel, Inc. only.
REVISIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Revision, Cancellation and Refund policies will vary by individual suppliers. Supplier cancellation fees can be up to 100% of the total trip cost and no-shows are non-refundable.
Refund restrictions and policies for unused travel and vacation components vary and are subject to rules of individual travel suppliers. Insurance premiums, airfare and some supplier fees are non-refundable. Please inquire about supplier policies prior to confirmations.
Travel insurance is strongly encouraged, which may cover cancellations for covered reasons outlined in the policies. Policies vary with differing exclusions (such as pre-existing medical conditions, work-related issues, supplier bankruptcy, change of mind, etc.).
REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION
Government issued photo identification is required for ALL travel (driver's license or state ID, etc.). Wethersfield Travel, Inc. strongly encourages ALL travelers to utilize a Passport when traveling. Cruise Lines indicate that passengers can use a birth certificate when cruising on closed-loop cruises (cruises originating and terminating in a US departure port). This policy is fine if all goes as planned. If, for some reason, a passenger needs to disembark for any reason in an international location, they will be unable to return to the US with a birth certificate. Wethersfield Travel, Inc. will not be liable if passengers travel without passports.
Passports are definitely required for all international travel and some countries require VISAs. Travelers will not be permitted to depart without proper identification. It is the traveler's responsibility to verify and obtain any required identification prior to travel commencing. Travelers must ensure that passports' expiration date is at least 6 months past the date of travel return.
Please check with the US Department of State for more information relating to your travel destination. Special documentation is required for minor children traveling with or without their parents. If traveling with children, please check with Wethersfield Travel, Inc. before departure for any specific policies or restrictions.
Non-US citizens must contact the consulates of any countries you are visiting to verify any visa requirements. Non-US citizens residing in the US must also contact the US Citizenship and Immigration Service for re-entry into the US.
Note that anyone with a criminal record, including misdemeanors or Driving while Impaired (DWI) , may be barred from entering other countries (Canada, for example). You may be able to obtain a special waiver if requested in advance of any planned travel. To determine whether you may be inadmissible and how to overcome this fining, please refer to the citizenship and immigration sites for any countries on your travel itinerary.
